I was a bit worried about the film being PG-13 just based on the fact that it is about revenge and it is a Coen Brothers’ film. Luckily, the film still had an R-rated feel where the violence was brutal and relentless. There’s an amazing scene in the film, which is straight out of the original, where a guy gets his fingers chopped off and then Bridges unloads a gun into a character’s face.
