Running with a few friends as they chase Ramon (Williams) Mumble's buddy, when he returns to the colony, Erik meets Sven (Hank Azaria) the amazing flying penguin who becomes Erik's idol, much to Mumble's chagrin.

He continues with the penguins in peril them whilst also adding a nature in perspective angle that is fascinating, along with the back story of the tiny krill who are valiantly trying to find their place in a world that consists of much bigger and hungrier creatures. This sequel charmingly delivers all the ingredients that made the first movie such a hit; adorable characters, great tunes, and the realistic Antarctic landscapes make some of the best use of 3-D ever seen.
