Big things are a happening in the penultimate offering in the Twilight Saga. Edward and Bella get married, she falls pregnant on their honeymoon in Brazil then almost dies before she gives birth. Then after four movies spread over around 490 minutes of palpable desire and the kind of restraint afforded by superhumans, Bella wakes up with the red eyes that distinguish her as a vampire.

The wedding takes place in a pretty, woody setting and Edward Cullen and Bella Swan make their heartfelt vows, no 'til death do us’ part malarkey obviously. This is a pleasant enough ceremony but it by no means is strong enough to be stretched out to over 30 minutes of screen time. Despite the gaiety there is the obligatory sense of foreboding as befits a vampire marrying a human.
