Review of Alvin and the Chipmunks Chip-Wrecked (2011)

This movie sees those cheeky Chipmunks and Chipettes is a chilled mode, as they prepare to go on a cruise with their kindly but beleaguered owner Dave (Jason Lee). It invariably all goes awry however and their antics see them, Dave, and the villain of the series Ian Hawke (David Cross) ejected from the ship thanks to a glider accident. This leads them to be washed up on a desert island, hence the Chipwrecked of the title.

Review of Alvin and the Chipmunks Chip-Wrecked (2011)

The latest movie, Alvin and the Chipmunks; Chipwrecked is as banal and inoffensive as the 2009 offering “Squeakquel”, and although this third assault on the hearing also brought with it the hopes that this would be the final chapter in this saga, the expected bountiful receipts as the box office seem certain to deny us this pleasure.
